I AM UNDONE VOL.9
January 15th, 2026
Event starts: 19.00
Place: Dansens Hus - Vulkan 1, 0182 Oslo

I AM UNDONE is a process-oriented event for performing arts in Oslo, curated by the artist collective LiLi Re. Starting from the notion that art is an alive organism in perpetual development, I AM UNDONE is unique in its attention to hybrid research, underlining the fluidity of performance and giving focus to raw, unpolished, fresh materials.
On Thursday January 15th we invite you to experience four distinct performances in the making as Ingvild Sandstø Isaksen & Katrine Ellefsen, Yohei Hamada, Hanna Våge Skjeggestad, Yohei Hamada, Ferdinand Schwarz present fresh works-in-progress.
I AM UNDONE embraces the unfinished and offers a rare glimpse into the artistic process. It brings together artists across disciplines, creating space for bold performative actions that challenge methods and spark new ideas.
Each edition of I AM UNDONE finds a new home, shaping itself in response to its surroundings.
For Vol. 9, we are thrilled to collaborate with Dansens Hus. Located in Vulkan, Dansens Hus is Norway’s national stage for contemporary dance. A place to experience, develop and talk about dance. A place for people who love dance and for people who have never watched dance before.
Artists:
Ingvild Sandstø Isaksen & Katrine Ellefsen
Ingvild works as an interdisciplinary performing artist mainly using movement, sound and text as tools for exploring our surroundings. Katrine experiments with textiles and different materials, constantly looking for new solutions and answers, driven by continuous analysis of life.
Together they wish to explore how the other’s approach can bring new perspective on their work, uncovering layers of engagement curious of what will appear in the intersection, with reflection and humor as a common ground.
Yohei Hamada
Yohei Hamada is a dance artist originally from Japan, currently based in Røst in Nordland, who holds a MA in philosophy at Yokohama National University. Hamada sees dance as an intellectual act to perceive the dynamic world as it is, as dynamic. Recently, he explored the dance of the human body with tools – in Push Pull Matters (2023) and Shin-Shin-Shinwa (2024), and with the surroundings – in FormBodyMaterials (2025). In his new project Anima Choir, he will create a ritualistic dance choir with sculptures made by Daniela Bergschneider, together with other dance artists. The piece is planned to premiere at Bodø Biennale in September 2026.
Hanna Våge Skjeggestad
Hanna Våge Skjeggestad is a dance artist from Sandnes based in Oslo. She is interested in the simultaneous duality of working both choreographically and as a performer. In her work she is drawn to the multi-faceted, ungraspable and constantly changing, in this the physical body as matter is a starting point she continually returns to.
Terrarium – A terrarium in the shape of all the visible and invisible layers that bind the bodies together, through symbiotic collaboration and parasitic exploitation. For I AM UNDONE Hanna Våge Skjeggestad (dance) will, together with Anu Laiho (dance) and Peder Niilas Tårnesvik (sound/music), show a work in progress.
Ferdinand Schwarz
Ferdinand Schwarz is a composer-performer and sound artist intrigued by slow and seemingly simple sound, that he deploys in the design of compositions and communal listening practices. Ferdinand approaches listening as an active condition, a creative and contingent tool for states of presence.
In Embracing Waves (working title) he shares aspects of his daily listening practice: listening with sound-space as a physical matter, a relationship in-between listener and the heard. Can I touch a sound? How does it feel feeling it?
