I AM UNDONE is a process-oriented event for performing arts in Oslo, curated by the artist collective LiLi Re.
On Wednesday June 4th, we invite you to experience four distinct performances in the making as Oda Kirkebø Nyfløtt, Eirik Havnes, CAKE and DOBRE / JERSTAD present fresh works-in-progress.
I AM UNDONE embraces the unfinished and offers a rare glimpse into the artistic process. It brings together artists across disciplines, creating space for bold performative actions that challenge methods and spark new ideas.
Each edition of I AM UNDONE finds a new home, shaping itself in response to its surroundings.
For Vol. 8, we are thrilled to collaborate with ๐๐๐๐ก๐ข๐ง๐ค๐จ. Located in Grønland, Pachinko is an artist-run space with focus on presenting experimental cross-disciplinary projects, with the desire to provide a testing ground for artistic and social discourse.

๐๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ซ๐ค๐๐ø ๐๐ฒ๐๐ฅø๐ญ๐ญ is a performer and theatre maker hailing from Førde, Norway, and a graduate of the Jacques Lecoq school in Paris. She co-founded the international theatre collective the Krumple in 2013, and has since been co-artistic director of the company. With the Krumple she has created a number of critically acclaimed performances that have toured extensively in Norway and abroad, among others the award winning YOKAI - remedy for despair (2016) and DÉJÀ - a gentle sadness of things (2019), both of which are still touring internationally today. In her creative work, Oda wishes to offer space for wonder, enchantment and - hopefully - relief, to that which may feel overwhelming, chaotic or hopeless. For I AM UNDONE she is exploring ways to revisit, deconstruct and rebuild a broken self image, through an upcoming project that speaks of trauma, shame, darkness, creation, and the exquisite feeling of letting go. The title of this work-in-progress is 17,2 years.
๐๐ข๐ซ๐ข๐ค ๐๐๐ฏ๐ง๐๐ฌ regularly works at the intersection of different forms of expression. He is a musician, composer, sound artist, lyricist and poet, whereby his work with text is predominantly linked to different performative formats. For many years he has worked with the relationship between sound and spoken text, both in the role of musician and as a reader, however always through different forms of collaboration. For I AM UNDONE he will for the first time explore both of these roles simultaneously.
๐๐๐๐ (๐๐ซ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ก๐ฎ๐ข๐ฃ๐ญ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐ ๐๐๐๐ค๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ & ๐๐๐ง๐ง๐ข๐๐๐ซ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ซ๐๐ง๐๐) is a working group consisting of dancer Ingrid Haakstad, percussionist Jennifer Torrence and dancer/choreographer Orfee Schuijt. The collective is testing performative practices within the fields of dance and music.
๐๐๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐ข๐๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐๐ซ๐ & ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ง ๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐. Dobre is a Romanian dancer, performer and choreographer who lives and works in Norway. Deeply immersed in speculative somatic practices and driven by references from queer, new-materialist and posthuman theory, her work explores ideas related to the naturalization of the body and its forms of escapism in relation to histories of violence and climate collapse. Jerstad is a cross-disciplinary director, performer, designer and playwright whose work blends ecology, mythology, and speculative storytelling. Jerstad creates immersive, sensory-driven landscapes exploring transformation, interconnectedness, and the longing to be part of a bigger whole. Annike Flo is part of the research from a cross-disiplinary perspective bringing visual/material elements. Linn Nystadnes is part of the process as a sound technician.
Dobre and Jerstads performative research deconstructs cinematic stereotypes and gender clichés, exploring how movement and interdisciplinary methods can reimagine emotional and gendered narratives. Inspired by the 1996 film Bound, it focuses on performative love stories through gestures, voice, lip-synching, and vocal techniques.
